Finissage: Jodelworkshop

The European Culture Days will come to a melodious close: The yodeling workshop hosted by the Kreuzberg Yodeling School invites you to discover a singing technique that is far more than just a folkloric cliché. Yodeling thrives on the alternation between head voice and chest voice. It is precisely these audible breaks in the voice that give it its characteristic sound.

The workshop takes a playful approach to yodeling. Together, participants will try out basic techniques, get to know Tyrolean yodels, and explore simple vocal exercises. And of course, the “Yodel Wheel of Fortune” is a must.

No prior experience is required. Anyone who’s curious and wants to use their voice in a different way is warmly welcome!
