FINISSAGE zur Ausstellung "Die Straße spricht!"

On May 05, 2026 at 6 pm we invite you to the finissage of the exhibition "Die Straße spricht". So you still have the opportunity to visit the exhibition during our opening hours after April 30 (on May 4 and 5) - on Tuesday we will celebrate the completion of their successful work with the students.

Students from the Academy of Fashion and Design have researched what the public space in Ottensen tells us - if you look and listen, you can hear many messages that have to do with advertising, power and political communication. Who and what is visible and under what conditions? Can there be such a thing as visual justice in public space? Altona and especially Ottensen, with its eventful history and multicultural population, are rich in official and unofficial signs of all kinds that shape the special visual landscape of the district. Which historical signs, for example on facades, tell of Altona's history?
