Would you like to apply for a creative degree course at a university of applied sciences or art academy? The Werkschule supports you with the practice-oriented application coaching "Aktion Mappe!". The course is aimed at young adults who are interested in studying in areas such as

• Graphics & Media
• Architecture & Stage Design
• Fashion, product, lighting & industrial design
• Film & Photography
• Teaching Art Media or Technology and Design

Why "Aktion Mappe!"?

The entrance examination at many universities can be a real challenge. The artistic aptitude test requires not only good technique, but above all a convincing, personal artistic vision. This is exactly where our coaching comes in. The course helps you to design your portfolio in such a way that it not only shows your skills, but also your artistic identity and vision.

What you can expect on the course:

• Individual support: We will help you to develop your work so that it is well received in the entrance exam. You will receive advice tailored to your artistic interests and the course you are aiming for.

• Get creative together: You will work on your own projects, which you can also discuss in the group. Your creative process will be supported and you will receive valuable feedback.

• Preparing for the exam: Your results will be reviewed and optimized before the exam so that you have a portfolio ready for submission with great work samples.

Important information:

• Consultation: Before the course starts, there will be a 30-minute one-to-one consultation where we will look at your previous work and discuss your course strategy. This costs 20 euros, but if you take part in the course afterwards, you will be credited 10 euros.

• Course times: The course takes place every Thursday from 17:45 to 20:45. You can also join during a current semester, but we recommend attending for at least 3 months.

The entrance exams at many universities usually take place between February and June. Prepare in good time!

Price information:

The Werkschule is committed to supporting young people who have opted for creative or artistic vocational training. The course fee for people up to the age of 27 who are preparing for a career and have no income of their own (e.g. pupils and students) is reduced by 50% on presentation of proof. Of course, participation is also open to all other interested parties at the normal price. The material is included for these courses. The price is to be understood on a monthly basis.
