The British artist on tour with new album "Eusexua"

With her experimental R&B sound, which touches on diverse spheres of avant-pop, trip-hop and electronic music, the exceptional British artist FKA twigs is inspiring audiences around the world. Both her debut album "LP1", released in 2014, and her second album "Magdalene " (2019) took the singer to number 50 and 78 in the German album charts respectively. With her debut album, FKA twigs was also nominated in the "Best Recording Package" category at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015. On the albums, "Two Weeks" (102 million Spotify streams) and "Cellophane" (82 million streams) have established themselves alongside "tears in the club" feat. the Weeknd (54 million streams) from the "CAPRISONGS" mixtape (2022) as the singer's most successful tracks to date. FKA twig's collaborations with A$AP Rocky on his song "Fukk Sleep" (2018) and on TY Dolla Sign's track "Ego Death", on which she featured alongside Kanye West and Skrillex, brought her particular attention. VOGUE recently compared FKA twigs to David Bowie and Björk and described the artist as an "iconoclast whose overflowing imagination is meteoric and seemingly untameable." On March 11, 2025, FKA twigs will come to Berlin's Uber Eats Music Hall for an exclusive show on her "Eusexua2025Tour" to present her new album "Eusexua", which will be released on January 24.

Tahliah Debrett Barnett grew up in Cheltenham, England and started writing her own songs at the age of 16. At the age of 17, she moved to London, where she initially worked as a dancer. After self-releasing her debut EP "EP1" (2012) via Bandcamp, her first music video single "Water Me" followed in August 2013, whereupon The Guardian featured her as "New Band of the Day". Initially launched under the artist name Twigs, she changed her pseudonym to FKA twigs to distinguish herself from the US duo The Twigs. Her second EP "EP2" followed in September via the Young label, after which she was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2014 award. 2014 also saw the release of her debut album "LP1", which contains the artist's biggest hit to date, "Two Weeks". Following the release of the EP "M3LL155X" in 2015, FKA Twigs released her second album "Magdalene" in 2019, including the hit single "cellophane". In 2022, the mixtape "CAPRISONGS" was released, on which the singer collaborated with The Weeknd, Pa Salieu and Shygirl, among others. Her new album "Eusexua" describes a state of being - a feeling of momentary transcendence that is often evoked by art, music, sex and unity and, according to GQ, is rightly anticipated with great excitement.
