How does traditional flamenco live on in the bodies of the young artists who dance and practice it today? Nowhere is the interplay between tradition and the spirit of the times more palpable than in the tablao.

Based on rhythm—the magical thread—cante, guitar, and dance twist and turn: they create one another, inspire, respond to, contrast with, or accompany one another. They engage in a lively dialogue between structure and improvisation, share their personal stories—and connect with one another on the “tablao.” Five flamenco artists from Spain and Germany invite you to the junges Tanzhaus Berlin.
