Cari Elise Fletcher, better known by her stage name Fletcher, embodies through and through a young, self-confident woman who consistently goes her own way. Whether as an actress or singer, in both fields she addresses the thoughts of young women between ex-boyfriends, self-confident feminism and the search for her own identity. And with growing success: after her first singles and her debut EP "Finding Fletcher " (2016), she achieved her first international success in 2019 with the rousing song "Undrunk" : 16th place in the US pop charts and chart positions in New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and other countries. After two further EPs, her globally successful debut album "Girl Of My Dreams" was released last September , with which Fletcher will be touring this fall. Between October 13 and 29, the multi-faceted musician will also be making guest appearances in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Cari Elise Fletcher was interested in two art forms from an early age: acting and making music. She has pursued both disciplines since her teenage years; she made her first film "How Katie Howard Found Herself", for which she took on the lead role of Katie Howard, at the age of 16. However, despite this early entry into the film business, she then devoted herself increasingly to music again - in two different ways: Firstly, she enrolled at New York's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music to complete her degree in songwriting; secondly, she successfully took part in the first season of the US edition of The X Factor.

Between 2015 and 2016, she released her first singles "War Paint", "Live Young Die Free", "Avalanche" and "Wasted Youth" , ultimately summarized on her debut EP "Finding Fletcher", with "War Paint" being the most successful of these singles and reaching number 1 in the Spotify Viral Charts. She then finished her studies before writing more songs with several songwriters and Frank Ocean collaborator Malay. One of the first, " Undrunk", was a song about difficult ex-boyfriends and the self-assertion of young women in times of the #MeToo debate. "Undrunk " subsequently became her first international hit and also rose to number 1 in the Spotify viral charts.

This was followed by major features in Time, Harper's Bazaar, Interview Magazine, NME and The Guardian around the accompanying second EP "You Ruined New York City For Me" . Their next EP, the meaningfully titled song collection "The S(ex) Tapes", also featured another international hit, "Bitter" , which quickly racked up over 200 million cumulative streams.

With her debut album "Girl Of My Dreams", released last September, Fletcher not only garnered rave reviews in US Rolling Stone, Billboard, Nylon Magazine and Consequence of Sound, among others, but also made it high in the international charts - between New Zealand and Belgium, Germany and the USA. In 2022, she was placed on the important Forbes "30 under 30" list and currently has well over a billion streams worldwide. Now Fletcher is coming to Germany for five of her rousing shows in October.
