The poetry evening at interkosmos

Welcome to the premiere of flinta*kosmos!

The brand new poetry slam at interkosmos Lichtenberg, where only FLINTA* (female, lesbian, inter, non binary, trans and agender) will take the stage!

Six poets perform their self-written texts - and you, the audience, applaud to decide who makes it to the final. Three of them will compete against each other again on the same evening and at the end you will choose a winner who will take home the lovingly hand-embroidered "flinta*kosmos" bag.

The bag will wander through the audience beforehand - anyone who likes is welcome to put something in it: Sweets, unused handkerchiefs or perhaps a Christmas present from Uncle Thomas. (So it can be a bit funny, but not disgusting, please. And we already have enough Sanifair sweets).

There's also a featured artist every time: sometimes from comedy, sometimes from music - but always guaranteed to be fantastic!

The following principle applies at our Box Office: everyone gives what they can, and those who can are happy to give more! Because our events should remain accessible to everyone despite rising prices.

This means

1. our box office prices are guidelines.

2. everyone gives what they can. No one has to justify themselves. Our admission staff will not ask if you give less.

3. there is a solidarity box at the entrance. If you can give more, you are welcome to leave us a small donation for people who can afford less and for the culture.
