Flohmarkt der Gärten 2024

On July 7, 2024, our large "Flea Market of Gardens", which is known far beyond Hamburg's city limits, will once again take place in our 104-year-old, historic and listed Fritz-Schumacher-Siedlung in Hamburg Langenhorn.

For the 11th time, the residents of our special estate will be opening the gates to their gardens. Once a year, visitors have the opportunity to discover many treasures, bargains and homemade items in a very special atmosphere.

However, our flea market of gardens does not only offer bargain hunters and flea market fans a special leisure experience. Our estate with its approx. 660 terraced and semi-detached houses and gardens of approx. 700 m² is a wonderful place for a trip to the green oasis of Langenhorn. We are the perfect place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get away from the stresses of everyday life. The gardens, most of which have been lovingly designed, invite you to linger and offer inspiration for life in nature in the big city of Hamburg. Many residentsalso havetimefor a nice chat about the history of ourspecial garden estate, life in our community or a chat about everything to do with the garden.

The 10th anniversary in 2023 was a complete success and an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. An incredible 234 gardens opened their doors to visitors. Many thousands of visitors - from all over Hamburg and the surrounding area - traveled to our historic estate for this special day. Even the somewhat unstable weather could not spoil anyone's mood. From the start of the event in the morning until late afternoon, thousands of cheerful and happy visitors were out and about in the gardens to experience an unforgettable day together with the residents.

We hope that we can build on the great success of the anniversary this year and look forward to welcoming many visitors to our "Börnerland".
