Set-up and times
Set-up is possible daily from 6:00 a.m. all year round from January to December.
The market takes place every Thursday from 07:00 to 13:00.
Please note: Traders may only leave their stands after the official end of the market.
Stall fees
Flea market stalls:
- 8.00 € per running meter on the outdoor area (minimum 2 meters)
- additional 2,00 € basic fee per stand
- optional: roof surcharge € 2.00 per stand
- Package deal: 4 meters incl. car at the stand for € 30.00 (basic fee included)
New goods:
- 10.00 € per running meter (minimum 2 meters)
- additional 2,00 € basic fee per stand
- optional: roof surcharge € 2.00 per stand
The Dortmund Thursday market
For over two decades, the Thursday market has been held - except on public holidays - under the large, shady trees at the Dortmund racecourse. It is known in Dortmund and the surrounding area for its pleasant atmosphere, affordable stall prices and the wide variety of products on offer. Private vendors in particular appreciate the opportunity to present their goods in a relaxed environment. Visitors can expect a wide selection: old finds, clothing, household goods and much more. Food and drinks are also provided.
Anyone who wants to sell things or simply make space for something new can book a stall at one of the flea markets at any time. Anyone and everyone can take part.
How to get there
The racecourse is located in the immediate vicinity of the B1 and is therefore easily accessible by car. Two large parking lots are available on site.
The following options are available for getting there by public transport:
- Bus line 427 to the "Rennbahn" stop
- S-Bahn line S4 to "DO-Knappschaftskrankenhaus", from there about 1 km walk to the market area
