Stadioncenter flea market - the all-weather flea market in Leopoldstadt
It's worth getting up early: the flea market at the Stadioncenter in Vienna's 2nd district is a real must for anyone who likes to rummage, haggle and go home with a little find. Whether you're specifically looking for vintage items, clothes, household items, decorations, books or just that "Look what I've found!" moment - you can spend hours wandering through the rows here and always find surprises.
What's particularly pleasant is that it's a huge all-weather flea market, which is largely held under cover. This makes it a good idea even if the weather is not quite flea market-friendly. There are also outdoor stalls - perfect if you prefer to stroll around in the open air or if it's nicest outside anyway.
The market is also practically organized for sellers: The car is parked right next to the stall, which makes setting up and dismantling much more relaxed (no endless lugging, no stress). And if your stomach starts to growl in between, you don't have to look far: A snack bar is available so you can recharge your batteries between bargains.
