Flow and Fusion: DJ- & Turntablism-Workshop mit Rap- und DJ-Legende „Der Wolf“

21.06. + 22.06. 11:00 - 15:00 each day
This workshop gives young people aged between 16 and 21 the opportunity to gain their first experience of DJing - under the guidance of a real hip-hop legend: "The Wolf" guides participants through the history of DJing as a central element of hip-hop culture and teaches the basics of turntablism in a practical way.
The focus is on techniques such as scratching, pitching and beatmatching. Together we will create a 20-minute mix - consisting of songs that the participants can bring along themselves (via USB stick or Spotify). This mix will be played live at the final event on 21.06. at WirrWarr-Wehringhausen! In a relaxed atmosphere, the aim is to learn how to use DJ equipment in a playful way and to live out your enthusiasm for music in a creative way.
The workshop is free of charge. All you need is a good mood and your favorite songs - the rest of the equipment will be provided.
