FLOW – Eine Immersive 360°- Reise entlang Smetanas Moldau (mit Live-Konzerten)

After international stops in Boston, São Paulo, Liverpool, Madrid, Amsterdam and Zurich, PROJEKTIL is now bringing its latest 360° experience to Berlin - and celebrating the premiere of a completely new production. With FLOW, PROJEKTIL returns to the Passionskirche and once again transforms one of the capital's most atmospherically impressive spaces into a unique stage for immersive art.

The historic church in the heart of Kreuzberg is considered a striking location between tradition, urban life and cultural openness. The imposing sacred building with its high vaults, solid stone, special depth of space and impressive acoustics has been creating a special atmosphere for decades. It is precisely this place that now forms the stage for FLOW - a work that lifts audiovisual poetry into a new dimension.

FLOW - when music becomes light and space

In the Passionskirche, the historic vaults are transformed into a room-filling 360-degree artwork of light, sound and movement. FLOW is dedicated entirely to Bedřich Smetana's world-famous composition "Die Moldau " - but in a form that has never been experienced before.

The work has been rearranged, recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, enhanced with modern electronic elements and produced exclusively for this immersive experience. The result is an extraordinary combination of classical music tradition, contemporary sound design and monumental visual art. The music unfolds the movement of the river - from its source through rapids, landscapes and cities to its mouth. Each phase of the composition is brought to life visually, spatially and emotionally in Berlin.

The Vltava flows through Berlin

In FLOW, the Vltava flows through the entire church space as a living river. Light flows over walls, arches, columns and ceilings. Water structures, colors and movements interweave with the sound to create an immersive overall experience in which space and perception dissolve.

Visitors stand in the middle of the stream of light, music and movement - and experience how the boundaries between architecture, emotion and sound open up in a special way.

Water as a symbol of life

Water is origin and memory. An element that shapes the world as much as it shapes us. It bears the traces of time, moves forward ceaselessly and yet always remains with itself. In its flow, water reveals an ancient law: everything changes - and only that which moves remains alive.

FLOW picks up on this symbolism and makes it spatially tangible. The Vltava's journey tells of beginnings, transitions, loss, strength and renewal. Many visitors will also find their own inner flow in this experience.

The Passion Church as Berlin's resonance chamber

This dimension is particularly palpable in spaces such as the Passion Church. The old stone, the height of the nave, the echo of the vaults and the play of light create a place where inside and outside merge into one another. In the middle of vibrant Kreuzberg, FLOW creates an antithesis to the city: a place of peace, beauty and concentration. Especially in the Berlin summer, the pleasantly cool church also becomes a special retreat with cultural depth.

Berlin as a new international venue

With FLOW, Projektil opens a new chapter in its international success story and shows for the first time how powerfully the Passionskirche can be used as an artistic resonance space.

Berlin thus becomes part of a series of international cultural metropolises in which immersive formats are setting new standards. The capital is once again demonstrating its openness to innovative forms of expression between art, technology and emotion.

The Berlin sound engineer, composer and DJ combines technical precision with musical experimentation. His sets move between dubby structures, reduced rhythms and atmospheric depth - a flowing, immersive sound journey in the spirit of "Moldau".

- Marlion Waves - Live Electronic Crossover / Rock'n'Roll

With a loop station, guitar, synths and groovebox, Marlion Waves creates multi-layered soundscapes between rock'n'roll, techno and psytrance. His music moves between energy and tranquillity and follows an organic, flowing dramaturgy.

- Vincent Babl - Live Cinematic / Ambient Guitar

Live concerts: 19.07.2026
Between acoustic guitar and electronic extensions, he creates emotional soundscapes full of depth. His compositions are like musical narratives and add an intimate live dimension to the cinematic world of FLOW .

- Varia Aves - Live Modular Hypnotic Techno

Live concerts: 03.07.2026 / 10.07.2026 / 17.07.2026
Improvised, raw and hypnotic: Varia Aves develops driving, organic techno structures from modular sound systems. His sets unfold like a stream - from tension to dissolution.

For the first time in Berlin, this will create an expanded FLOW experience of cinematic shows and curated live concerts that reinterpret Smetana's "Die Moldau" across genres.
