In the organizer's words:

FLUPPE is a post-punk quartet from the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, which also has a noticeable preference for pop and shoegaze. Together with the attitude typical of the Hamburg School and their skeptical view of existing conditions, this results in the rough coordinate system in which FLUPPE operate.

The EP "Billstedt" from 2020 was already consistently dedicated to the district of the same name. This motif also runs through the two subsequent albums, music that only makes the love of life visible at second glance. Behind their cool, often rugged surface, FLUPPE conceal numerous sugar-sweet melodies and a keen sense of careful, effective songwriting.

Comparisons with well-known bands from Husum or Peine are only partially valid, because FLUPPE know how to skillfully avoid potential accusations of obvious stylistic similarities with cleverly placed musical detours and independent ideas.

Braunschweig's TETZLAFF, who enrich punk rock with indie rock and a little pop without losing any of their toughness, will open the show. The result is varied and intelligent music that gives listeners little time to take a breather.
