Look forward to folk music at its best with two top-class bands in the open air in the courtyard of the "Alte Feuerwache" community center.

Dirty old Town | 7-8.30 pm

The band was founded at the end of February 2017 as a band project of the Hennigsdorf music school. Instrumental beginners, advanced and "almost" professionals from 16 to over 50 years old make Irish music together. The band consists of six singers who accompany themselves on guitar, bass, violin, cello and percussion.

Folk's Sake | 9 pm - 2 pm

Folk's Sake is a likeable and charming band from Berlin that you can't get out of your head when you think of the passionate sounds of Irish and Scottish folk.
Their extensive repertoire also includes elements of bluegrass and original songs, which makes the band's dedication to the world of folk music particularly authentic.
With their exhilaratingly cheerful and expressive stage presence, they have already made a name for themselves throughout Germany. Whether it's rousing traditional songs that get your feet tapping or powerful ballads that soften every heart - nobody can escape the good mood, coupled with a little wanderlust.
