Folklore presents its first European show in Berlin with an exciting triple bill of artists.

MOCK DEER
Mock Deer (Ricky Damiani) has become a staple of London's independent music scene through his prolific collaborations with fellow artists from the city and beyond. He has toured Europe extensively and shared the stage with artists such as Brent Cobb, Sam Brookes, Simon Joyner, The Burning Hell, Joan Shelley and Willy Mason.

Mock Deer has released several EPs and composed original music for television and theater. His debut album The Art of Loneliness - recorded with producer and longtime collaborator Scott Fitzgerald - was released in February 2020 and received excellent reviews from the British music press. He also received a great response for his follow-up EP Perceptions, which was developed and recorded live with Canadian indie legends The Burning Hell and released in March 2022.

His latest release has further explored the art-rock/psych-folk sound and the result is very exciting.

EERA

After an extensive UK and European tour as main support for Public Service Broadcasting, which included a show at London's O2 Brixton Academy, as well as playing as part of her band EERA, the project of Berlin-based Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist Anna Lena Bruland is releasing her second album, Speak, in December 2021. Speak, the follow-up to her acclaimed 2017 debut Reflection Of Youth, is an unashamedly self-aware album about acknowledging yourself and being proud of who you are and has already been awarded 4 points * Reviews in MOJO, Loud & Quiet and 7/10 in Uncut.

After Nick E. Harris quit his job as a music teacher at a London elementary school years ago and fled to the remote landscapes of New Zealand to lead a frugal and stoic life, he spent a year devoting every waking hour to honing his guitar playing and songwriting. while paying the bills as a busker. When he resurfaced and returned to London, it was clear that this decision had paid off; after working with Ben Lovett of Communion Music, he self-released his debut album 'Chimera'.

Nick's music has been praised and supported by Clash Music, Q Magazine (Calm Your Demons - Track of the Day) and BBC 6 Music amongst others.

In recent years Harris has played shows with the likes of Courtney Barnett, Moulettes, Keston Cobblers Club and Rozi Plain and toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. He has been long listed in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, performed at Wilderness, Cambridge Folk Festival, Glastonbury and Green Man amongst others and played a multi-instrumentalist in "Patch and The Giant" (Earth Agency) and up and coming London alt-folk project "EWE".
