A selection of the best short films from the Vagrant Film Festival 2025
What place do the little people still have in the maelstrom of big systems, huge achievements and gigantic construction projects? Will their voices demanding justice be heard, or will they turn against each other? Disaster looms, whether in the form of excessive media exposure, invasive species or computer modulation. What choice does an individual have? Will they be able to fight back against the totality of language and discourse, or will they have no choice but to comply?
And this at a time when governments are trying to convince us that it is all in the interest of our safety. Is another revolution just the next attempt to alienate and kill the father figure? Don't forget: The job is the most important thing, and after another pointless day at work, be sure to watch Fight Club.
