Food Futures: Global Seeds, Berlin Soil — An immersive evening of inspiring stories, flavors and conversations

In the organizer's words:

+++ The event will be held in English. +++

What if we could shape the future of food ourselves? Individual actors around the world are demonstrating how this can be achieved. At our event, they will discuss their innovative solutions with you.

The international debate on the future of food is dominated by politicians, companies and scientific institutions. Implementing meaningful changes in the complex global food systems seems almost impossible. However, innovative solutions for dealing with food insecurity and climate challenges are emerging at grassroots level.

In this panel discussion, actors from Nigeria, the Philippines, Brazil and Germany will share how they have made progress with their local communities towards a stronger and more sustainable food future. In the discussion, with photo essays and tasting of local food, you will experience these innovations first-hand. Come along and shape the future of food with us!

A joint event with the Humboldt Residency Program. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is a partner of the Futurium.
