FORTUNA EHRENFELD are about to place the next smash on the German table tennis table.
"We've only just warmed up," comes from the Ehrenfeld studio. Well then...
After a "fantastic concert" (KStA) in the sold-out Cologne Philharmonie
and the resulting double live album, the last fall tour in 2022 was again SOLD OUT nine times.
And new colors are already being stirred for the next studio album (release end of September 2023, tonproduktion records).

FORTUNA EHRENFELD have become an integral part of the German-speaking indie scene.
Martin Bechler has created his own genre with his idiosyncratic poetry and draws one arrow after another from the quiver with unspent composure. Butter-soft drums, persistent electronic beats, guitar sounds and lush keyboard pads complete the Seltsam travel group to form a unique trio that repeatedly generates the danceable highs for this extraordinary songwriting.
Between the inevitable pyjamas and confetti cannons, an absolutely independent and unmistakable project of German pop culture has matured here.
Five records, an EP, a French-language album, hundreds of sweaty concerts: What FORTUNA EHRENFELD have delivered and achieved in the professional music business in just a few years is astonishing. And it gives you hope.
Because a world in which such a crude and self-confident mixture of pop and poetry, of bar and dance floor, of melancholy and feigned roof damage finds an audience can't be so fucked up after all.
