What is it all about?
More frequent and more intense heavy rainfall events, floods and heatwaves show that climate change has long been an economic reality. Companies are facing additional risks and rising investment costs, while banks and supervisory authorities are increasingly assessing climate risks as a factor for financial stability. How are the economy and the financial system responding to these new challenges? With Dr. Fabian Schoden, Prof. Dr. Katja Greer and Robin Bohn Teixeira, the event brings together business practice, economics and central bank perspectives.
