In the organizer's words:
The photo exhibition "Carnival in Venice" focuses on the rich history and cultural significance of the Venetian carnival. The exhibition "Carnival in Venice" by Hanoverian photographer Wolfgang Niess offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the Venetian carnival and experience the cultural facets of this unique tradition through the photographer's lens.
All interested parties are cordially invited to the vernissage on 03.05.2026 11 am.
Mr. Piero Vaira (Consul General) and Prof. Dr. Volker Deville (President of DIK e.V.) will give a welcoming address.
The exhibition can be visited from 03.05.2026 to 28.06.2026 daily from 8 am to 9 pm in the KunstGang of the MHH. Admission is also free.
