I cordially invite you to the vernissage of my photo exhibition
"Vulvodynia" on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 7 pm
in the ANNELISE gallery in Dortmund.

The exhibition is dedicated to the chronic, little-known disease vulvodynia and poses the question: How can pain be made visible?

Vulvodynia refers to vulvar pain without an identifiable cause that lasts longer than three months - often perceived as burning, stinging or dryness.

Portraits and interviews were created in close collaboration with sufferers and doctors - complemented by images that tell of isolation, vulnerability and pain. The photographic works are accompanied by a photo book, which was developed together with Leonie Kaulfuß, as well as a curatorial exhibition concept, which was created in collaboration with Franci Schönhofer.

The opening will be accompanied musically by the DJ club Ouroboros.
