In the organizer's words:

"Klezmer meets jazz" - an exciting encounter between two musical worlds that seem different at first glance, but which merge in surprising ways. The expressive, often deeply moving klezmer music meets the improvisational joy and rhythmic diversity of jazz. The result is not a simple mixture, but a lively interplay of opposites, a dialog between cultures, tradition and modernity. The initiator of the project is Frank Meiller - clarinettist, composer and creative head of the quartet. With a keen sense of timbre and great joy in playing, he moves between styles and opens up spaces for new musical encounters. His aim is to build bridges - between genres, generations and stories.
