Mrs. Peterchen, an astrophysicist, likes to pass on her knowledge of the phenomena of the universe to children in a vivid way. But this time everything is different. A rather large insect demands her attention. It claims to be a chosen cockchafer on an important mission and needs the scientist for a flight to the moon. The unlikely duo embark on a journey through space. The search for the 6th leg begins.

Everything is created on a 2 meter high canvas: the first sketch of a rocket, the route through the stars, colorful galaxies, bizarre encounters with other beings and constellations. Using paints, brushes and a flashlight, a map of the universe is slowly put together, station by station, and leads the protagonists to their destination: the moon.

Mrs. Peter's Moon Journey is an exciting journey through space that combines art and science and brings the universe within reach through the medium of painting.
