Frau Piesewotzki, Libuda und ich

Ronaldo and Julia's lives are turned upside down. While Ronaldo is an absolute Schalke fan, Julia's heart beats for black and yellow. Together they have navigated their marriage through many challenges, but when their daughter Emma, an aspiring footballer at Wattenscheid 09, introduces her new crush Libuda, things start to change.

Libuda is not at all what Ronaldo and Julia had in mind for a son-in-law. While they try to overcome their reservations, a colorful mix of secondary characters such as the nosy landlady Mrs. Piesewotzki or Schalke legend Rudi Assauer on the phone create additional complications. Fast-paced dialog, surprising twists and a good dose of Ruhrpott charm make this comedy so special, and not just for soccer fans.
