Frau Schaum und ein Dinosauerier unterm Weihnachtsbaum

It’s Christmas. Three hours to go until the presents are handed out, and eight-year-old Luzie is looking forward to the holiday as she wraps the gifts. But her mother, Mrs. Schaum, a single parent, is stressed out. Everything has to be nice and tidy—the meal cooked, the silver polished, the sofa covered with foam…!

And then the child makes a mess again. So Luzie decides to visit her friends in the apartment next door: the dinosaur researcher Prof. Roman, his magic turtle Annabella, and the baby dinosaur Bodo, who survived the Ice Age in the refrigerator.

While the professor quickly runs out to get some presents, Luzie and Annabella explain to Bodo what Christmas is—the festival of love and joy.
But Luzie has to go back home, and Annabella and Bodo come up with a plan......

Scene change:
Mrs. Schaum is still decorating the Christmas tree when a rustling and rattling startle her. It’s coming from the huge package that Prof. Roman brought along with other gifts for Luzie and Mrs. Schaum. Suddenly, the wrapping bursts open, Bodo sticks his head out, and shouts, “I am joy!” Mrs. Schaum hadn’t expected this at all—“a dinosaur under the Christmas tree!”—and it’s hard for Luzie and Prof. Roman, who has rushed over, to calm her down. But then it turns into a truly wonderful Christmas for everyone, with lots of music and even more presents.
