The proportion of women in the new state parliament of Baden-Württemberg will be just 33.8% after the state elections on March 8, 2026. This clearly falls short of a key goal of the electoral law reform adopted in 2022, namely to significantly increase the proportion of women. At our "Women in Conversation" event series, we want to discuss how things might continue, what opportunities will arise despite this and, above all, what this means for us women, together with MPs Isabell Huber (CDU) and Dr. Dorothea Kliche-Behnke (SPD).
Whether interesting lectures, enriching activities or simply a social get-together - the KDFB's "Women in Conversation" series of events offers a variety of points of contact. We want to exchange ideas and network, learn from each other and celebrate the diversity of our experiences.
All women are welcome at our events and in our association, the Katholischer Deutscher Frauenbund , regardless of age, profession, life situation, denomination or nationality. The prerequisite is recognition of the values and goals of the KDFB. There is only one restriction: anyone who does not support the Basic Law and expresses misanthropic, anti-Semitic and racist views has no place in the Women's Federation.
