In respectful cooperation with the @evangelischestadtmissionerfurt and @do_it_nau (Charity Bike Rides) we invite you to a solidarity party for the women's shelter Erfurt and collect money for a vacation camp for former residents and their children! Let's help to give joy for a time together with yoga classes, children's activities, walks, picnics, bread on a stick at the campfire and lightness away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Soliparty is the final evening of the @do_it_nau Eurovelo 5 fundraising campaign, after 3100 km of cycling through Italy for a good cause. With this solidarity party, hot beats and delicious drinks, we not only want to draw attention to the great work of the women's shelter team, but also generate a few donations.

Join us on 13.09.2024 at Klubhaus Kickerkeller with all your friends and not only fill the dance floor, but also the donation pot of the women's shelter.

Every year, over 50 women and just as many children find protection from domestic violence at the Erfurt women's shelter. Experiencing violence does not leave children unscathed. They are always affected too. To create more understanding, the following figures: 155 women were killed by their partner or ex-partner in Germany in 2023. Every 4 minutes, a woman in Germany experiences violence at the hands of her partner or ex-partner. Every second day, a man in Germany murders his partner or ex-partner. It is crucial to call these acts what they are: Femicides - the killing of a woman because she is a woman. Because she had her own opinion. Because she ended a relationship. Because she did not follow a man's claim to power.

We ask you from the bottom of our hearts to think through these numbers and even if you can't come to the solidarity party or donate, please talk about it, especially with the men in your life! Thank you for your support!
