It's only a week, but one that Anni will never forget. She sees Fred for the first time in his aunt's bakery, where he is doing an internship. Shortly afterwards, she meets him again during her morning swim in the ice-cold lake in an attempt to toughen up. Anni and Fred become closer. Fred learns about Anni's fears in connection with the accidental death of her beloved uncle a few months earlier. Anni learns that Fred is trans. This is new territory for both of them. So they begin to gather information and quickly realize what is needed above all to strengthen each other: mutual understanding.
Lena Hach's sensitive and life-affirming story about the happiness of a first tender love was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. It is the basis of our new mobile production. The story is told from Anni's point of view with musical and emotional support from her best friend Elmira.
