We are delighted that the Rias Kammerchor Berlin and its chief conductor Justin Doyle will once again be our guests at St. Elisabeth; the special concert in the "Freitag 3/4 sechs" series will feature the premiere of the work "Honig aller Wesen" by the English composer Alec Roth, who, like the RIAS Kammerchor, is celebrating his 75th birthday this year.

Commissioned compositions and world premieres have been central to the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin's identity from the very beginning and are always a highlight for singers and audiences alike. This season, the choir is all the more delighted to present a composer in residence for the first time: the British composer Alec Roth, who lives in Germany. Works by him will be performed throughout the season. He will also coach young composers in a workshop and compose a new work that will be premiered in this concert.
