In the organizer's words:

In this practical workshop we will explore textile printing techniques with plant material.

We will start with a walk together through the immediate surroundings, collecting leaves, flowers and other botanical materials. We will then experiment outdoors with Solar Fast - a light-sensitive textile dye that is fixed by UV radiation - and create sun prints with our collected plants. At the same time, we will try out different methods of decoloring, which are activated by sunlight and leave fine, ghostly imprints on fabric.

Please bring your own textiles.

The workshop takes place as part of freitagsküche. Perhaps the best festival kitchen in Europe cooks and curates culinary art as a social event: the artists' collective not only provides diverse and tasty food for the festival, but also creates a social space in which artistic practice and everyday culture overlap with the workshops on offer.
