A shaggy creature with red eyes and thick eyebrows follows little Frida wherever she goes: its name is "the rage" and it incites the girl to violent outbursts when she gets annoyed. The rage hates cutting fingernails, eating spinach and combing hair ... and a thousand other things. And because Fury hates all these things, Frida hates them too. However, she doesn't feel so good after the tantrums. Frida feels sorry for them and they make her sad. One day she has finally had enough. She desperately wants to get rid of the anger and throws it out of the house in a high arc. But Frida can't be happy about it for long. Because her self-confidence and courage have gone with the shaggy monster. It's kind of silly, a life without the rage!
Together with puppeteer Vanessa Valk, author and director Mia Grau has brought her picture book Frida und das Wut to the stage. The puppet theater piece with music is a song of praise to the power of anger.
