In addition to Home By Midnight and Vinyl Night, it’s time to bring live music back to LOFTWERK! We proudly present: FRIDAY BEATS! On select Fridays, we’ll be inviting local bands to LOFTWERK to get the party started. 

On October 16, 2026, featuring Mäck Horn Bänd. 

The “Mäck Horn Bänd” is a three-piece music collective centered around Wiesbaden-based singer-songwriter Marcus “Mäck” Horn. Even though he’s no longer a teenager, he’s considered one of the new German song-poets who emphasize lyrics in their songs without neglecting the groove and power of the music. No half-measures, as he himself says.

Mäck Horn is a truly unique wordsmith and a consummate craftsman on the guitar. Deeply rooted in jazz, blues, funk, and rock ’n’ roll, he creates his own personal repertoire of songs through idiosyncratic compositions and musical ideas. “We play unique songs with German lyrics—with an eye for detail and full of energy. Our songs are handmade,” says Mäck Horn, “and are presented with the finest craftsmanship. They’re all one-of-a-kind pieces with German lyrics. With great attention to detail and full of verve. “My songs are always just about me,” admits the native of Swabia, “about my wild ideas and my dreams. They’re about my summer blues, just as much as they’re about my spring fever. We sing the praises of the blue sky when my world sinks into gray. And we dance like flies, spinning left and right.”

Live, his musical ideas are brought to life by Hans Bender on bass. His rich, deep tones provide the band’s harmonic foundation. Paul Maré sits on a simple wooden box and drums the soul into the songs. Together, the three musicians—on guitar, bass, and cajón—perform with a refined composure and a mischievous sense of humor. The trio presents their musical ideas live in a multifaceted way, each member bringing their own unique charisma.

Our wine and gin bar provides cool refreshments! And for those feeling a little peckish, there are various culinary treats available.
