Despite her many personal connections in the art and experimental film scene, Friedl vom Gröller is still a largely unknown artist. With 120 short films, she has created an extensive cinematic oeuvre that is closely linked to her photographic practice, which is based on portrait photography, capturing prolonged moments and brief experiences.
