Fries TV Ebertplatz: Audiovisuelle Live-Performance „be|ton“ am LED-Screen

Over the past few weeks, many different video art contributions have already lit up Ebertplatz as part of the "FRIES TV" project. We are now looking forward to presenting the audiovisual performance "be|ton" by Stulle&Peter with Fabian Laute live on the 50-metre-wide LED strip on 28 March*.

In addition, there will also be a program in the Kunsträume Gemeinde Köln and GOLD+BETON that evening. Free admission.

Audio-visual performance by Stulle&Peter with Fabian Laute (LED tape + headphones)

• Exposed aggregate concrete and traffic noise serve as the starting point for the one-hour audio-visual collaboration between the light art duo Stulle&Peter and the musician and urban researcher Fabian Laute. Contemplative electronic music and field recordings meet audio-reactive stereo visuals. The performance can be heard with wireless headphones and experienced visually on FriesTV.
• Fabian Laute is a musician, sound artist and urban researcher. He has been playing live on German and international stages since 2021. Stulle&Peter work as light and video artists on the threshold between digital arts, fine arts and photography.

*The presentation was actually planned for March 15, but could not take place that evening due to a technical defect on the LED band.

Fries TV project:

Fries TV is a project by Unser Ebertplatz and is funded by the city's Department of Culture.
For the period from November 2023 to March 2024, there was another OPEN CALL with around 70 submissions, from which works by Simon Stimberg, Christine Camenisch & Johannes Vetsch, Janosch Pugnaghi, Paula Radon, Sohyun Lee, Parisa Karimi, Yuna-Lee Pfau, Marie Lempelius, Paco Croket, Stulle & Peter Visuals with Fabian Laute were selected by a jury.
