Friska Viljor - The songs, the life, the audience

We formed Friska Viljor early on - as young adults, confused, restless and without a clear direction. All we knew was that we had to write songs, share them with others and find a place where all this chaos could become something beautiful.

Now twenty years have passed. Relationships came and went. We stumbled, found our footing again, lost it again and came back. Sometimes we walked side by side, sometimes alone. We have grown older. We have become parents. The world has changed - and so have we.

But one thing has stayed the same: Our band. And you.

From the first clubs that shaped us - stuffy rooms, loud choruses, that feeling of "this is ours" - to the new faces in the front row today. On the last few tours, we've even seen children at the concerts. And we can't think of a clearer, more beautiful sign of our journey together: that the music has carried us through break-ups and parties, through everyday life and new beginnings - and through everything that may come.

In June 2026, Friska Viljor will play five special concerts with a reduced line-up: just Daniel Johansson and Joakim Sveningsson on stage. No band, no safety net. Intimate, close and honest - the songs that have carried us, the stories behind them and an audience that has always been more than just an audience. Two people. Twenty years. And you.
