Fucking Truffaut by Bliadski Circus Queebaret for Maxim Gorki Theater, directed by Ukrainian director Roza Sarkisian, asks questions such as: Can we explore and discover new narratives of war discourse? To explore the answers to these questions, Bliadski Circus Queebaret's practice does not start from a discourse of trauma, but from a performance of possibilities. In doing so, Queebaret turns discourses, experiences, and representations of war on their head. The evening's special guest is Antonina Romanova - a Ukrainian queer artist and trans soldier - who will connect to Berlin via the internet to present the world premiere of Queebaret from the front line.
