The meeting point for the guided tours is the Visitor Information Center (BIZ) in the pump house at the Jahrhunderthalle.
The underground supply shafts were once part of an extensive underground system that connected external production sites throughout Bochum with the normal company cellars. Today, some of them have been made visible to visitors and provide a fascinating insight into the history of the Bochumer Verein.
