In the organizer's words:
We travel back in time to the 1950s. The couple Chaya and Emile Touma live in the city of Haifa. She is Jewish and he is Palestinian, and both have dedicated their lives to reconciliation between their opposing nations. Chaya did this with her ceramic works, Emile with his history books and political commitment. We will also see pieces of jewelry from Israel and Palestine by the collector Dr. Bir as well as historical and contemporary portraits from the region.
