Exotic beauties - tropical water lilies

Visitors can experience tropical flair on the central square in Westfalenpark Dortmund. An astonishing abundance of tropical and hardy water lilies are waiting to be admired in the water basins. During a one-hour walk around the water basins at lunchtime to see Nymphaea and other sensational water lilies, we discover many interesting facts about the queen of aquatic plants. There are also answers about the majestic, decades-old palm trees, the rabbit wire in the pools and the role of koi carp.

In the "Knowhow to go - guided tours with a focus" series, Westfalenpark employees share their knowledge with interested visitors - "Knowhow to go".
