The tour provides an overview of the culturally and historically significant musical instruments of the 16th to 19th centuries. Keyboard instruments document the piano-making tradition in the Braunschweig region. With Anke Wickboldt.

Adults €5.00; concessions (for schoolchildren, students, trainees, people with disabilities, pensioners and holders of the "Braunschweig Pass") €2.50; children aged 6 - 16 €2.00; Free admission for school classes and children up to the age of 6. The Städtisches Museum is fully accessible. The Municipal Museum is a member of the Braunschweig MuseumsCard. It allows free admission once and permanently reduced admission on subsequent visits for one year to the seven largest museums in Braunschweig.
