In the organizer's words:
As the world nears its end, young Furiosa (played by Anya Taylor-Joy) is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large biker horde led by the warlord Dementus (played by Chris Hemsworth). On their way through the wasteland, they come across the Citadel, which is ruled by Immortan Joe (played by Lachy Hulme). As the two tyrants battle for supremacy, Furiosa must endure numerous trials as she assembles the means to find her way home.
This is a prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015) from director George Miller that lets us learn more about the struggling Furiosa before she meets Max Rockatansky.
