FZW Indie Night – Kæry Ann, Blue Chesterfield

Kæry Ann from Italy combines dream pop, folk, psychedelia and grunge in her sound to create an intense, atmospheric experience. Her debut album Songs of Grace and Ruin (Anomic Records, 2023) captivates with hypnotic guitars, dark bass lines and her smoky-soft voice, which oscillates between tenderness and raw emotion. Kæry Ann creates melancholic soundscapes full of symbolism and introspective depth - somewhere between Mazzy Star, Emma Ruth Rundle and a mysterious world of her own.

Blue Chesterfield from Pilsen (CZ) explores the darker corners of art rock, shoegaze and post-punk. The project led by David Jirka combines lo-fi textures, melancholic melodies and poetic lyrics to create a raw, intense sound. Their album My Burning House (2021) is like a surreal road trip through loneliness and memory - dark, soulful and uncompromisingly authentic.
