At the FZW Indie Night we regularly present two European newcomer acts.
Loupe (NL)
On their debut album "Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?", the Amsterdam indie rock quartet Loupe explore explores themes of young adolescence, life in the big city and human relationships in a web of sweeping harmonies, free-flowing rhythms and expressive vocals. The band succeeds in developing a sound that is both exciting and hypnotizing.
Unconventional guitar riffs, an exciting rhythm section and a touching and captivating voice: Loupe have a wealth of dynamic and artistic facets, have grown as a band and can rely on their creativity.

Special Friend (FR)
Special Friend is an American-French indie rock duo from Paris, founded in 2018 by Erica Ashleson (drums, vocals) and Guillaume Siracusa (guitar, vocals). In 2019, they released a self-titled EP recorded in two days in their rehearsal room, revealing a unique sound of minimalist indie noise-pop reminiscent of Yo La Tengo, Duster and Electrelane.
