FZW Indie Night: Soror + Third Party People

In the organizer's words:

At the FZW Indie Night we regularly present two European newcomer acts.

S O R O R (BE)
S O R O R is a "dream rock" band that was formed in Brussels in 2018 when Sophie and Alice (bass and vocals) came together.
The two kindred spirits compose minimalist and intimate songs with influences ranging from Portishead and Cat Power to PJ Harvey and Radiohead. The duo quickly grew into a band. The first EP was released in March 2020 and established the band's line: an organic and melancholic sound. S O R O R then toured throughout Belgium and France. Their first album, released in September 2023, was an instant underground success.

Third Party People
THIRD PARTY PEOPLE is a Dortmund-based synthpop band that mixes electronic melodic gems with restrained guitar rock and live samples with astonishing ease. Not much is played live from their debut "A Reason to Pay", with which the four musicians performed at Juicy Beats and Live am See, among others. A new album is expected later this year. At their shows, "Third Party People" cause amazement and open mouths with their Notwist and Interpol-like, modern indie sound.
