Genre boundaries? No such thing! At our monthly G Sessions, musicians from the most diverse scenes meet for a creative clash to improvise, create new sounds and inspire you with spontaneous musical magic. Hosted by the G-Session house band OUTERNATIONALS, each session thrives on spontaneity.
From the realm between city and dream: Conic Rose sound like a nocturnal ramble through the tangle of urban spaces - shimmering, melancholic and yet gently hopeful. Their music is difficult to reduce to a conventional formula. Depending on your point of view, it can be described as indie pop, jazz, ambient or electronica. Starting with the hoarse tone of the trumpet, embedded in floating soundscapes of electric and acoustic guitar, keyboards, bass and drums that reveal influences of J. S. Bach, Krautrock, Thom Yorke or Bonobo, they create sounds that find their way both aimlessly and unwaveringly. The recipe lies in the perfect mixture of intuitive calculation and calculated intuition.
Conic Rose is young, urban and incredibly open jazz that captivates the audience from the very first moment with its joy of experimentation and graceful soundscapes. A must for all those who like to romp around in atmospheric soundscapes of jazz, electronica and modern instrumental music.
Gianni Brezzo is the band and studio project of Cologne-based musician Marvin Horsch, who combines jazz, experimental pop and hip-hop to create unique, atmospherically dense soundscapes. Since his debut New Magic (2019), Gianni has been impressing listeners with a mixture of nu jazz, loungey fusion jazz and instrumental hip-hop. Albums such as Tutto Passa (2022) and Filigrani (2023) showcase his precisely arranged, atmospherically formulated soundscapes.
His latest album Sprechiamo! (2025) is a reflection on Marvin's relationship with Italian culture, inspired by Italian music such as Napoli Exchange, the Periodica label and Giuliano Sorgini. The album is less about the search for his roots than about the existing Italian ties and the lively cultural exchange in his living environment of Cologne. Gianni Brezzo creates music that is lively, accessible and at the same time artfully arranged.
Teresa Luna is an artist at the crossroads of sound and culture. Born in vibrant Buenos Aires, raised between the meadows and forests of Bavaria and now at home in Berlin - a triad that shapes her music. As a singer, guitarist and composer, she fuses jazz, pop and Latin American influences into an expression of constantly changing identity. Her art is an encounter: between South America and Europe, between migration and memory, between roots and new beginnings. Her warm and approachable voice connects, translates, bridges - and thus creates completely new spaces.
At the age of 19, Teresa Luna moved to the capital, where she immersed herself in the music scene, developed her own solo projects and collaborated with musicians from Germany and Argentina. Today, she is furthering her vocal studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin, where she continues to refine her unmistakable style. Her concerts are experiences full of warmth, depth and resonance. It is about departure, about closeness, about the feeling of finding oneself - or each other - in the music.
