After taking the French charts by storm last year, making her debut album the best-selling jazz/world album of the year in France and giving fascinating live performances in several countries such as Japan, Germany (including at domicil and the sold-out Konzerthaus Dortmund), Canada and the USA, Gabi Hartmann is now back with her new album 'La femme aux yeux de sel'. In the 13 songs, most of which are sung in English and French, she once again moves between different styles and mixes jazz, pop, folk and soul. The titles, some melancholic, some colorful and some full of rhythmic energy, create a world of their own, in which one can also discover the great role models Mercedes Sosa or Miriam Makeba.
