Gaga/people Classes with IDO TOLEDANO in Hamburg! I’m so excited that Ido is finally coming back to Hamburg. His classes are pure joy in movement, with lots of groove and a playful spirit. Not to be missed!

Open to everyone; no prior experience is required. Classes are taught in simple English. You can book the days separately or together—they do not build on one another. 

Gaga Movement Language is a movement language developed by Ohad Naharin, a dancer and choreographer from Israel. Gaga is based on the belief in the healing, dynamic, and ever-changing power of movement. Gaga/people classes are open to anyone 16 and older who enjoys moving, regardless of prior experience. Gaga classes offer a practice that explores the form, speed, and power of movement while incorporating a range of soft and firm textures, delicacy and explosive power, as well as understatement and exaggeration. Gaga invites you to listen deeply to your body and its physical sensations and to find pleasure even in moments of exertion. Ido is a dancer, choreographer, and Gaga teacher. He studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance and was a dancer in the Batsheva Dance Company’s Young Ensemble. With his choreography “Helpmate,” he won first prize in the competition for outstanding choreographers. He currently lives in Frankfurt. He has danced with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and at the Opéra de Paris. Ido teaches Gaga at dance companies and studios across Europe, and regularly offers Gaga online classes as well.
