Gankino Circus are back with a new program: a glamorous Saturday evening show with a touch of provincial madness! The musical high-wire artists known from radio and television present a wild and virtuoso rock'n'roll spectacle including unleashed dialect pop and feel-good songs with an 80s sound. But unlike the competition on TV at home, everything is live with Gankino Circus: no playback, no false bottoms, just groundbreaking musicality and spontaneous entertainment!

Growing up between freshly painted facades, neatly mowed lawns and heated pools, the four childhood friends practically imbibed the desire for security and consistency with their mother's milk. But with their first school band together came the rebellion! Suddenly, the future exceptional artists realized what it was really all about, why the Lord invented rock'n'roll and why the hell a Gankino Circus was needed!

Now on the big stages, the four cosmopolitans from East-West Middle Franconia know the turbulence that arises when you are suddenly catapulted back into the sleepy village idyll of your youth and confronted with the opposite of rock'n'roll. In their new program, the masterful musicians, oddball characters and gifted storytellers talk about this as well as providing bizarre insights into the big cabaret showbiz. So it's going to be quirky, subtle and very, very funny again ...
