Garbage have been one of the most influential bands in alternative rock since the 90s. With their characteristic sound between rock, electronic and pop as well as socially clearly positioned lyrics, Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker have created an influential and independent work. Live, the band presents itself as a powerful unit that effortlessly combines classics and new songs. In June 2026, Garbage will be in Germany for two shows with their new album "Let All That We Imagine Be The Light".

The new work is their eighth studio album - an intense, atmospherically dense album that emerged from a phase of profound upheaval. After singer Shirley Manson's serious injury in 2024 necessitated an abrupt break from Touree, Garbage managed to develop a new creative perspective from this enforced break. Out of the awareness of this vulnerability and the physical distance between the individual band members, a new Garbage sound emerged: more emotional, with a cinematic breadth and great narrative power.

The album addresses transience, resilience and cohesion - and transforms personal crises into collective hope. Musically, the band combines its unmistakable power with new nuances of atmosphere, dynamics and melody. "Let All That We Imagine Be The Light" is a mature, moving statement about humanity, the fragility of life and the strength that can come from vulnerability.

In June 2026, Garbage will bring these new songs and classics such as "Only Happy When It Rains", "Stupid Girls", "I Think I'm Paranoid" and "#1 Crush" live to Germany!
