Andrea Kathrin Loewig, born in 1966 in Merseburg under the rare Chinese zodiac sign of the fire horse, studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. She also took singing and ballet lessons and attended workshops in Berlin, Hamburg and Los Angeles. Andrea Kathrin Loewig has been in front of the camera since 1988 and appeared in various television productions before taking on the role of a lifetime in the series "In aller Freundschaft" in 1999. She has also remained loyal to the stage, playing various theater roles and interpreting chansons by Jaques Brel and songs from the Roaring Twenties as a singer. She is also a successful dubbing actress and received the German Dubbing Award for the voice of Charlize Theron in the film "Monster". Andrea Kathrin Loewig is much more than her most famous role of "Dr. Kathrin Globisch" in the Sachsenklinik. She is a singer, dubbing artist, dancer and actress.
